Melanie and I traveled from just down the road in Desert Hot Springs to Joshua Tree National Park hoping to camp there for a few nights. I tried to make a reservation for Jumbo Rocks Campground in the park, but they were full. We arrived at Ryan Campground, a first come, first served, campground at around noon on a Friday. There were two remaining available sites, we choose #28. Joshua Tree is a feast for the eyes. We toured around and saw part of the park on our bikes this time. The first day we rode from our campsite in Ryan to Jumbo Rocks and back. The second day we rode from Ryan to Keys View.
