Melanie and I decided a while back that, whether we were talking food or campsites or places in general, we'd only post positive reviews. We, of course, could change our minds, but as of now, if you see a post about a campground or place we've visited or stayed, it's because you, if inclined, should check the campsite/campground/destination too.

I've spent a fair amount of time checking out campsites and campgrounds online over the past year and a half.  I follow many full-time travelers on Instagram. If someone gives me enough information to discern where they are camping and the site looks interesting, I go to my Campendium site and read reviews of the site, if they exist. I have 3088 sites marked as "favorites." What that means for me is that, in future travels, when I want to move the MPV (Missing Persons Van) into an area, I've already read reviews of sites that may work for us. I am, however, looking forward to being perfectly without any particular destination in mind too. Discovering new places together on the fly will generally be the modus operandi.
