Highway 95, Nevada

After spending more than a week in Nevada, we drove from Winnemucca, Nevada to Burns, Oregon on our way to Sisters, Oregon. These photos are another set in a series of point and shoot (set the camera, point, focus, shoot) images. Spectacular high desert driving.

Would love to know if there are any services (hotel, gas, etc.) between Burns and Winnemuca, and if so, where? Riding motorcycle from Portland to Mesdquite NV. Any info you have is appreciated.

We traveled through there at the height of the pandemic, just after all things began to close down.

My recollection is I’d filled up in Winnemucca and we stayed in Burns one night. I didn’t top off my tank in Burns and, while we inevitably had enough fuel to take us into Bend, it was closer than I wanted.

I recall no services between Winnemucca and Burns, just stunning landscapes.
